A short story - The strength of a tree

An old, sad oak tree couldn't let go of its past, always remembering when it was just a tiny, vulnerable acorn. Every year, watching its leaves fall brought it down, and losing a big branch one winter made it feel even worse, like it was shrinking.
The tree was so focused on its losses that it didn't see how strong and magnificent it had become, how beautiful its green leaves looked against the blue sky, or how its sturdy wood was used to build homes and ships. It was grand, but it couldn't see it.
This is a lot like us. We often dwell on past hurts or mistakes, overlooking our own strength, beauty, and the positive impact we have. We get so caught up in what we think we lack that we miss how truly remarkable we've become.
You are strong. You are beautiful. Know that!
Remember, Re-think Who You Are!
